The website development process
At ISHIR Digital we follow the project management methodology for all
web projects as it not only helps us in developing a robust website but
also ensures that the end product meets the client requirements.

development. At all stages of website development projects we have a lot
of input and consultation with our clients and stakeholders so that we
are able to meet the specific client requirements on time and within
budget. The involvement starts very early in our website development
process from the customer contacting us with their requirements, to our
analysis of their requirements along with the proper understanding of
their business, business model and what exactly they require from their
website.
In order to define and meet the objectives of every project, ISHIR Digital
follows a defined and proven process to ensure success of the project.
We take the following approach in all our projects:
Brainstorming and requirement gathering
The brainstorming session is required to review objectives, goals and
address various development approaches that can be pursued to meet goal
of the project. The final result of this session is a complete
understanding of the end project goal. Brainstorming ensures we cover
the full scope of the project and also helps in the development of the
project within the timelines.
Design
This stage includes the conceptualization and creation of a design and
layout of the website interface. Firstly our team creates a preliminary
layout to review with the client. Based on the feedback the design is
revised where necessary and worked through with the client until the
final concept is approved.
Development 1: Website architecture
Upon concept approval, we build the general architecture of the website.
The home and interior page templates, global navigation, and Cascading
Style Sheets (CSS) are all created during this stage. This phase allows
the client to see how the website will function in its final
environment.
Development 2: Content
Once the general architecture has been created and approved, we work
with our clients to populate the appropriate areas of the website with
content.
Development 3: Programming/DB
Much of the required programming/database development tasks occur in
tandem with the Architecture and Content stages. This stage involves
custom application development (programming/db) for any of the dynamic
(functional, customizable) elements that may be needed for the project.
Testing
After the completion of all development tasks, we perform rigorous QA
testing to ensure the site functions as intended and conforms to current
web design and development standards.
LAUNCH
Once the website site passes QA testing it's ready to launch and we make
it live.
POST-LAUNCH SUPPORT
Following the launch of the website, we work with our client to help
gauge the websites success through various proven methods. Post-launch
support typically includes tweaks to the content and graphic elements of
the site, content updating and minor architecture changes.
