from the walk in customers. In the internet
era where online pharmacy is on boom,
Calder Chemist decided to take their
business one step further and create
an independent business model by launching
their pharmacy site for UK community.
The objective of the website is to fulfill
client needs for Pharmacy requirements,
Health information and products in one
central spot 24hrs a day from the comfort
of their own home. |

Website: Calder Chemist wanted
their website to be simple and easy
use and at the same time they wanted
multiple sub category and categories
for easy identification of medicine.
ISHIR team designed a very sophisticated
looking website for Calder Chemist using
soft pastel shades which is giving the
website a pleasant look and feel. Every
effort has been taken to increases the
usability of website by displaying product
categories, special offers etc. without
making website looking clustered or
busy.
Content Management System :
Since information about medicine is
crucial, ISHIR team engineered a well
thought out content management system
which allows the Calder Chemist team
to effectively manage their online catalogue
by giving as much information as they
can in a structured and sorted fashion.
The CMS allows the administrator to
create multiple level of categories
and sub categories for placement of
medicines under appropriate sections.
The CMS also allows administrator to
manage brand stores for different brands
on the website.
Ecommerce : ISHIR developed
a customized shopping cart module for
Calder Chemist to track various shopping
details. Advanced and secure utility
of online payment gateway was also integrated
in the solution to facilitate payment
to the visitors. ISHIR also developed
UPS shipping module for various shipping
options for Calder Chemist.
Technology : This solution
was developed using ASP and HTML as
the presentation layer and SQL 2000
as the database. |
